San Francisco alone -Charley

I went to San Francisco in this spring break. At first, I didn’t plan to go to San Francisco. I want to take a rest for spring break. I had never thought about spring break plan before I heard about my friends plan. All of my friends had plans, so I felt something like nervous. I stay only 9months in America, so Experience is really important. Therefore, I started to make a plan to San Francisco. Spring break was already stated, so I had to leave to San Francisco ASAP. Because I didn’t reserve airplane, price of it was really expensive! So I choose Train and bus trip. It was cheaper than airplane, but It took 10hours to get the San Francisco. Next, I booked in hostel, and collect some information about trip. After 3 day, finally, On March 24^th, I departed to ALONE trip to San Francisco.

First day, I had to spend all day to get to San Francisco. First, I had to go to LA train station, transfer to the bus, go to Richmond, transfer again to train, and go to San Francisco. It was really uncomfortable, and took 10 hours to get there. I could arrive at the hostel at 10:00pm, and I fell a sleep immediately. Next day, I saw beautiful union square. It is big square located in powell st. which is very famous street to tourist. You can see cable cars in the middle of the street, beautiful buildings, many tourist, and also beggar. Then, I bought a muni passport. If you have muni passport, you can ride transportation freely for 3 days. After that, I traveled a lot. Grace Cathedral, beautiful beach, China town, pier 39, golden gate bridge, and so on. I can't explain all of them. Most of all, Pier 39 was pier but It changed to one of the famous tourist spot. You can see many performance, souvenir, and fresh seafood. I tried seafood, in pier 39. While I ate seafood, I met a poet who had gray hair and bushy beard, and he request to me translate his poem to Korean, which is my native language. I doubt him, but I gave my house address. After few days I came back to house, I got mail from him! He sent his poem to me, so I translated his poem, and sent back to him. It was really rare and special experience to me. In addition, I hung out with my roommate in hostel. One man was Canadian, the other was Bangladeshi, and another was American. We drank beer, and talked about many things. I showed them to magic (My hobby is magic). Then, they were crazy about my magic, so they told to everyone in hostel. At that night, I had to show to everyone of hostel.

It was really nice experience, because I traveled alone. I met many people, watched anything that I wanted, and even I could felt valuable of my friends. I can’t forget my successful alone trip.
