What is Global Warming?
Last week, I saw two documentaries which are ‘The Tear of North Pole and The Tear of Amazon’. They has a information which is the global warming.
Do you think that the Earth is getting hotter? Well, it is. All over the world, people are noticing increases in temperature. Many scientists are worried about this growing problem. They call this change in the temperature of the Earth "global warming.
Global warming is a slow change that happens over many, many years. If it continues, global warming may cause the ice on Earth to melt. This effect would add a lot of water to the oceans. The rising waters in the oceans would eventually cover cities like Los Angeles and London. Another effect of global warming would be on Earth's weather. Our weather would become much more violent. We would have many more violent. We would have many more terrible storms like tornadoes.
Global warming may be caused by nature, but people may also be to blame. Our actions have an effect on our world. Burning oil and cutting down lots of trees also speeds up global warming and we continue to do these things. Large streets and cities made with concrete also added to the problem. Concrete reflects light and absorbs heat, so it works to makes the Earth hotter.
To slow global warming, we should try to use less energy in our daily lives. Many small actions make a big difference to our home planet. We need to start helping the Earth now before it is too late.
