My Lastweek

Lastweek, my best friend came to L.A, because he want to go back Korea in LAX.

It’s his last weekend in USA, so I want to make a good memorial trip with friend.

We decided to go to the Las vegas by my car. First, we met in LAX on Saturday, and then we went to the Las Vegas.

After 5 hours driving, we got to the Las Vegas. As soon as we check in the hotel, we enjoy the blackjack.

However, I lost my money. T.T I tried gamebling; also, I lost my money. It just start my worst trip. Sunday, we ate lunch in Macdonald. As soon as I got into the car, I realized I lost my wallet.

I runed into the Macdonald, but I can’t find anything. My wallt has a $200, drive license, debit card, and my photos.

I got a shock. In my Las Vegas trip, I almost spend $400. At first, it’s very fun trip; as a result, it makes me sad.

When we came back to Riverside, I don’t want to concern about this happening.

Therefor, my friend and me went to the market, and we bought Korean BBQ pork.

Also, we bought Soju which is korean alcohol. At home, we grilled the pork, but it maked a lot of smoke.

Suddenly, the fire alarm was ringing. The office manager, police, and fire fighter came to my place, and they looked around my place.

As a result, I got warning.

I want to make a fantastic weekend for my friend. I don’ t care about my friend feeling. It was worst weekend for me. T.T

Touristic Places of Turkiye

Turkish architecture, the baths in Istanbul, traditional Turkish houses, Turkish arts, carpets and kilims, musical instruments, or the summer vacation places are the most memorable things for people who visit Turkey. However in this blog, I would like to introduce some touristic part of the Turkey (I will write Turkiye instead of Turkey because I want to share the way that Turkish people say). I am sure if you find a chance to go there, you will never regret. Maybe most of you do not know the cities besides Istanbul. There are many places in the South part of the Turkiye like a heaven. I am also adding some photos since some of my friend ask me before where is Turkiye.

Known officially as the Republic of Turkey, Turkiye is located in the Balkan region of South Eastern Europe. Turkiye is uniquely situated, being border by the Black Sea to the north, Mediterranean Sea to the south and the Aegean Sea to the west. The Sea of Marmara is used as a marker to define the border between Europe and Asia continents; therefore, Turkiye being transcontinental. Landscapes are the product of complex earth movements that have shaped the country over thousands of years. There are 7 regions of Turkiye, being separated according to their climate, location, transportation, agricultural diversities and human habitat.

Turkiye’s touristic holiday areas have breathtaking sea views of the Mediterranean Coast, Marmara Sea, Aegean Coast as well as the exciting exuberant town life. Antalya, Bodrum, Kalkan, Marmaris, Fethiye, Kusadasi and Olu Deniz amongst the favorite Turkey holiday locations. Moreover, Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Cappadocia are the other favorite Turkey holiday cities. If you want to visit one day, I recomend to go one of these cities especially in summer. I am sure you will enjoy if you go. I hope this blog have helped you to get some ideas about my homecountry.

I went Botanic Gardens, which is a hill located south east of UCR campus, with my friend last Friday. It was second opportunity for me to get to there, for I couldn’t climb up to the top of hill at the first visiting because of time restriction. There are so many beautiful flower gardens, such as Rose garden, Iris garden and Cactus garden. When I was on top of the hill, I could see splendid view of Riverside and many mountains, and I could feel really comfortable breeze with chorus of birds. Botanic Gardens is become one of my favorite places here in Riverside, so I’ll recommend you to visit there by walking. Moreover, I’ll describe about recommendation of field walking as follows.

First, walking is good for human health because it is aerobic exercise as well as full body motion. Especially, walking is good for respiratory systems. In fact, my mother-in-law had disease of respiratory systems about ten years ago, and she began field walking in accordance with her doctor’s advice. One year later, fortunately, she could overcome from her disease completely. In addition, walking is known as a best way for controlling weight by burning fat without hard exercise.

Second, field walking is an adventure which we can see majestic view of nature, such as mountains, rivers, lakes and ponds. My most memorable field walking is visiting of Cerro Aconcagua, 6962m above sea level; the highest mountain in South America in Mendoza, Argentina. I visited there in February, 2009 as a snap bus tour from Santiago, Chile on holiday of business trip. In this short trip, we could have a field walking at the middle of this mountain, which is located 3200m above sea level. We spent about three hours in this beautiful place, and we could see the top of the mountain with bright blue sky as well as beautiful natural ponds. I learned the magnificence of nature and enjoyment of field walking from this experience.

Finally, I recommend you to go field walking to somewhere with your friend. It’s so easy to begin because you have to buy only shoes for field walking. I believe that you can find something new feeling from field walking.

I went to Angels stadium in Los Angels to watch the base ball game, Angels Vs Tampa bay Rays. It was my first time to watch the base ball game in the stadium. I always watch it on TV. I was interested in waiting the game, We go to Los Angels by car, It took an one hour from Ucr extension to Angels stadium. I was touched by the stadium atmosphere. There are enthusiastic people there. They are different from Japanese enthusiasm, in fact , I felt many different feeling.

I could not know that the picture throw the ball to batter . The ball which they throw was like bullet . I was surprised with watching too fast bull ; in addition , the butter hit the ball like a ballet .I think the batter guess the ball speed. If they check the ball speed , they don`t be going to hit the ball .

I think important things are starting point and image the orbit . They always come up them, so they must be smart ; by the way , I had seen Hideki Matui first time since I was born. He did not be starting member but he entered the game as a pinch hitter. When he saw him , I screamed loudly . I hoped that he would hit a homerun . he hit a furl ball many time, as often as my heart beat excitedly . I heard the high pitch sound. where is the ball? Oh~, The ball

Bounded for first mitt. Oh, my god. I do not know the reason , but I felt the sad feeling. Angels lost the game, I enjoyed watching the base ball. I thought

people had better check the live performance. It has a precious something.

My memorable birthday^_&

I will never forget my birthday this time. It was so special. This is the first time I had my birthday in a foreign country, and also this is the first time I had my birthday without vacation. In China, May 1st is the Labor Day, so we have at least three-day vacation. Fortunately, my birthday is always in this vacation. On my birthday, I always go out and have my birthday party with my family and my friends. When I found that my birthday was on Monday, and there was no holiday that day this time, I was so disappointed. I have never thought that my birthday is on workday.

My birthday was coming so quickly. I the morning, as usual, I drove to Riverside. When I was ready to go to the class, I found a letter where I put my books in the car. I played it, and it was written by my boyfriend. He always did this. (Actually I was not surprised to see that :p ~Just kidding!~^_^ anyway, he is good at writing ) It said that don’t expect surprise, he had no surprises this time. (But I didn’t trust him) Every time he said he had no surprised, and really surprised me unintentionally. He is a person who is full of surprises, and everyone can’t guess what the surprise is, and prepare the surprise perfectly.

In our class, it was so affecting that all of my classmates sang “Happy Birthday” for me. I felt so warm. People from different countries sang same song for me. It was such a special birthday gift. I really thanked for Charley’s proposal why don’t we have a lunch together. You are so sweet guys!!!!!! I really enjoyed my special birthday with you!!!~

My impressions and feelings about "creep"

Did you remember “Creep” the song that Reza let us listen in class couple weeks ago? I’m not really like this song because melody of the song a little bit strange for me, but I like lyric of this song. This is my impressions and feelings about it. I think this man has a hapless fate. He loves a girl, but he not dare looks in her eyes because she’s so prefect, and very special in a beautiful world. I know you’ll wonder about who she is, why she’s so especial. Sorry, I can’t explain it and I think that nobody also can because it’s love. In Vietnam, we have a saying for people who are falling in love: for the world you are nothing, but in someone’s eyes you are their beautiful world. He compares “Angle” with “Weirdo” to show us how much he is different from her, as it seems impossible for him to shorten the difference between them. She’s absolutely beautiful and bright likes a star in the sky, so he can only see but can’t touch it. He wishes he had a perfect body, and a perfect soul. He wants her to notice when he’s not around. He’s not a selfish man, and he doesn’t need all of it for himself, he just wants to be perfect to match with her. He not only makes effort to do everything, but he also doesn’t care if it gets him hurt or not. When you love someone, you always want to make them happy. Sometime, it’s means to let them go without you. “Whatever makes you happy, whatever you want?” Finally, he recognizes that he can’t make her happy and she doesn’t belong with him. It’s the sad ending of his love. Why doesn’t he try again, try his best whether or not he will be unsuccessful and then he never regrets. He should show her how much he loves her everyday; therefore she knows his love for her is truth. I want to remind you just one thing: you will succeed only if you keep going and never ever give up. -.-

I think solar power is nice plan. There are many crop, nature in Riverside.
California mainly reserve revenue from sell the oranges to consumer; in addition, it cost fifty percent fee to built the power plant and is too expensive for the citizen. On the basis of the condition, we must think about their opinions. The tendency of weather often is sunny and sometimes rain. There
Is little regional rain in the year?
First, we must think about a plan, which resolve the disadvantage; for example, the pollution, the tax for citizen. It is bad situation to reduce the nature in Riverside and connect to decrease the revenue to the city.
Second, we must think about a tax. Tax is important to construct the power plant by increase or decrease taxes and must satisfy the citizen for make out the benefit plan.
On the basis of the problems, I suggest that solar power plant construct in Riverside. They have an advantage, no electric fee, and it does not out break the poisonous effect for the environment. They use sun solar panel, which change sunshine to electric power and is low price because of this system popularizing. This power goes with the tendency of the weather in riverside.
In addition, I want to adopt a new system which the home which uses a solar system discount the electric fee or return the money fifteen percent of the totally electric fee per a month.
Because of them, the construction can get a budget and cut off the consumption. I think solar panel set in the some place tower or the building than construct the solar power plant. It does not cost too much to use ruin tower as solar power plant.

4D Rule - [Jun]

4D rule

Since I arrived at Riverside, many things happen to me. Some things were good, some things were not good. I got many experience from relationship, so I make some rule. Before I introduce this rule, I tell you something. This rule is just my opinion. Do not follow this rule. The First rule is “Do not believe everything”. If you believe everything, you’re emotion may be hurt. The Second rule is “Do not misunderstand”. Misunderstanding make people fool. Also, if people misunderstand someone’s behavior, they must be sad. The Third rule is “Do not expect something from relationship”. If you expect something from someone, you will be sad because anything does not satisfy someone’s expectation. The Final rule is “Do not cross the line between relationships”. If you love someone and you want someone, you must be waiting and endure. Of course, waiting and enduring are very difficult. However, if you can’t endure and cross the line, you will be failing. Everything has timing. Of course, these rules are just joke and my opinion. However, between relationships, I learned these things. It is really funny. Actually, I really want to break this rule. However, many situations make me to believe these rules. Last weekend, some situation happened to me. That situation reminded me this rule. That’s why I nervous upset and confuse. What is the true? Everything makes me confuse. What is the best choice? Follow my 4D rule? Break 4D rule?
Everything is very complicate problem. Especially, human relationship problems…. Now a day, I just want to stay alone and meet other friends. However, everything disturbs my piece. I think following this rule will be good for my mentally healthy. It is so funny. My American life likes a TV show. Hu~ Ah… 4D rule…

I live in International Village of UC Riverside for 45 days. I'll try to describe strong point and weak point of Riverside from the view of resident according to my daily life.

First, it's strong point that we can concentrate to study English because there are good facilities and environments of UC Riverside Extension. We can use extremely useful facilities, such as Extension Center and Lab. rooms etc. In addition, there are few activities outside of UC Riverside, so we can concentrate to study. If we were in Los Angeles or Irvine, we couldn't concentrate to study because there are so many interesting activities outside of the college, such as shopping mall, bar, club, etc.

Second, it's weak point that the transportation systems of Riverside are tremendously poor. It takes approx. 25 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket on foot. We cannot survive without cars.　Furthermore, it is too difficult to get to Los Angeles without a car. If we visit Los Angeles by public transportation, it takes more than 2 hours per one-way. Everybody says it's terrible, and I also think so.

In conclusion, I would like to strongly request to Riverside City and/or California state legislature to improve said transportation systems. If these problems were resolved, Riverside would be much better than present in various aspects, such as culture, industry, etc. Moreover, “Modal shift”, which is worldwide trend of changing of transportation methods from car/airplane to train/ship in order to reduce the total amount of exhaust gas, is one of the most important keyword to resolve global warming problems. Therefore, Riverside and/or California state legislature should change their mind and take necessary actions as soon as possible.

POWER PLANT COMPANY

A power plant company wants to build up a power plant in Riverside. Although they want residents to pay 50% of start-up amount and this can cause increase on taxes, it will provide some benefits for Riverside residents. Firstly, there is currently only one electricity power company and their electricity bill per month is pretty expensive, and if there is another company it probably will decrease. In order to allow this power plant project, the city office should listen consumers, nearby residents and the company. I think all of them can deal pretty well on this project.

Residents should accept 50% of start-up amount if their electricity bill per month will be decreased 50%. Secondly, if the taxes will increase, it should be less % increase with long period instead of more % increase with long period. Thirdly, there should be city-vote on whether most people want this power plan, or not.

Nearby residents should not be affected by environmental problems; therefore, the company has to take precautions. On the other hand, the company should agree with the less electricity fee per month. They should also suggest some job opportunities for the residents. Furthermore, they should finish construction in three years in order to provide cheap electricity to residents as soon as possible.

Last but not least, the city office can increase the taxes to afford the start-up amount of the company. They should also agree with the consumers opinions about taxes. If there is something new for the city, the city officer should always consider the residents’ benefits firstly.

Power Plant Project

We discussed about a topic that power plant project in Riverside last Thursday and Friday, and my group saw this topic as power plant company. And I am going to make sure that power plant has good point and risk.

I recomend solar energy, because this is low risk high return. First, it is almost no poliution, Especialy, we can cut carbon dioxide. Moreover, we can reuse the parts of solar sell. Second, it is much more safety than other energy. There are no damege for human body. Therid, if we use solar energy, our energy self-support will be increase. However, when we set up solar power plant, this establishment cost should be expensive, probubly, the cost will be twice or three times the other energy cost. But we can set up solar energy power plant nearby place which we want to distribute, so we can cut power supply cost.

summarily, I think soiar energy is the best power plant, because there are a lot of deal, and this idea make some profit.

personal point

Last week, we discussed about the construction of Power Company in Riverside.
I was group member which has a nearby residential position.

I think that the most important thing is environment. We have to decide about what kinds of Power Company. We should choice eco-friendly Power Company. Even thought eco-friendly Power Company will be built in Riverside, the environment will get hurt. If Power Company will be built in Riverside, we might dig the soil, and we might cut wood.

I think that the best Power Company is solar Power Company in Riverside, because Riverside has a strong solar power. Also, solar power is eco-friendly energy. If solar Power Company will be built in Riverside, the place will be on the top of mountain. Therefore, the mountain will be get hurt, and many woods will be cut.

If we have to build Power Company in Riverside, the best thing is solar Power Company. It can be good for environment, people, and company.

The power plant aganda in economical point of view [Brian Lim, team B, 3rd blogging]

When does the government decide to built power plant in Riverside, they should consider economically about this agenda. First, the government may decide to gather the money which will be used for building the power plant by burdening tax on citizens. When we discussed this agenda in class, all of our classmates agreed with that 50% tax burden on citizens are too high. Economically, if the tax burden on citizens (=buyers), the demand curve will be downward in the market graph. This mean is that the quantity of demanded of using power plant energy will be decrease, because the tax will cause price increasing. Too much tax burden on citizens is not good opinion. Second, the government may decide to gather the money which will be used for building the power plant by burdening tax on company that will build power plant. Let’s think about this way carefully. Economically, if the tax burden on company (=sellers), the supply curve will be upward in the market graph. This mean is that the price of using power plant energy will be high. In additional, the price increasing of using power plant energy causes the decreasing quantity of demanded of using power plant energy. Eventually, the power plant will not work long time. So, in my opinion, the most important thing in this agenda is of finding the rational equilibrium about burdening tax on citizen and company in market. As we discussed in our class, 25% tax burden on citizen is rational. So, if the government needs to collect 50% tax for building the power plant, they should burden 25% tax on citizen and company, respectively. And the government should pay 50% subsidy for building power plant.

My Point of View of Building a Power Plant in Riverside

We discussed about the topic that “a Power Company wants to build a new plant in Riverside, but it wants 50% of start-up costs to be paid by the city” with our groups on Friday. It was a really hard topic.

I think that everything has two sides. After the power company builds, maybe we will pay less money for our monthly electricity. There will be one more power company, so we will have more electricity than before.

But on the other hands, I think there are more disadvantages. Riverside is a non-polluted city, and it has a good environment. After the power company builds, it will make a lot of pollutions, and destroy the environment in Riverside. It isn’t a good way for the people who raise animals or vegetables in their farms. In addition, the taxes in California are high now. It is hard to image that the taxes will be raised in order to build a new power company in Riverside.

In summary, I don’t think build a power plant in Riverside is a good idea! It has more disadvantages than advantages!

I know everyone introduced themself already, I guess I'm the last one. But it doesn't matter , right? I don't know what i should introduce to you, so I just talk a little about me and my City.
My name is Yen but you can call me Jenny. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I’m from Ho Chi Minh City which is the south of Vietnam. Personal Point of View – Power Plant

Giving 50% of whole cost is burden for citizen to build Power Plant. If we do not have problem using electricity, we don’t need to build it up in this place, Riverside. For one thing, Riverside is natural city compared to Los Angeles. Riverside has good environment for growing up Navel Orange so, this place is known for farm. If you go out, you can find wild fields for farm and this area is made of small shortage people. For my part, this area doesn’t need to construct electricity plant.

If the city really wants to build it up in Riverside, a municipal office in Riverside have to be held for election place. If the tax will increase because of start-up amount, citizen will be given by burden. I felt that many American dislike to pay much tax when I read newspaper USA today. I could understand the feeling because citizen has to pay tax whenever they buy something. In Korea, we don’t need to pay when we buy product. Our tax system is different with USA because our items which we buy include the items.

In my opinion, before we will build the power plant, people who study different subjects in many fields have to gather and talk about the topic. We can choose various choices like either giving support fee 10% for two years or giving support fee 5% for five years. As we choose one of them, we consider about the topic seriously. After we chose something once, it is difficult to change to other thing. A famous philosopher Sartre said that life is C between B and D. It means living own life is Choice between Birth and Death. I totally agree the saying, so we choose something very carefully. If this case like building a power plan can be very important issue, every citizen has to participate to address their voice about that.

I know that everyone has their own road which they chose the best. But someday in the future, you’ll recognize it’s not the best road as soon as you have many problems, and you think it’s impossible for you to get over. What will you do? You want to come back or choose another way. There aren’t any ways are smooth. Someone believed they would go faster when they went alone. Yet some of them gave up their road before they finished walking at the end of road. So I think you should find someone who have dream similar to you, they can be friends or your lover. And then, you share and walk together. There are several reasons why you need someone who go with you. First of all, sometime, you need someone hold your hand, and help you to get over your problems. Second, you need someone who will make you smile and raise your spirits when you are upset. Next, can you image what happen with you when you fall and nobody near you or help you? It’s very hard to stand up by yourself, right? I know it’ll take much time than you go alone, but the important thing isn’t how much time it take you, it’s you can finish your road. I think all of you had a plan about your future, about your own road. Now, if you have someone who is going with you, it’s good. If you don’t have, it’s not too later for you to find. I think the power plant is a bad idea, because we already have one and i don't think that people want to pay
extra money for taxes.The taxes in California is already high i don't think that any one will agree to this plan.
Why do the government want to pay 50%? Everything is going on so perfect.If the people want to have a
power plant,they have to say it not the government or the company.
The pollution dose effect people vary much,no one want to rise his child in a city where there is to much pollution.
I read once that more people die as a result of the pollution from these plants every year than from drunk driving or homicides.
The summary is i don't agree with this and i think most of the people will not agree too,and the government wont pay anything for this.

According to Reza gave the hypothesis, I use SWOT analysis to analyze the company.
Internal Factors:
Strengths: the company has patents of biomass energy, equipment, technology, and good employees’ welfare.
Weaknesses: the company doesn’t have enough finance and stockholders don’t want to increase the capital, management problems.
External Factors:
Opportunities: the government support 50% in this plan, raw materials (orange) of supply, policy
Threats: where to build the plant and the residents’ harassment.
My idea is the plant use oranges to make bio-fuel. Mix oranges with enzyme and amylum can transfer to ethanol. The ethanol can be the fuel to make power and has no pollution.
Question: What do you think the company acceptable the plan?
The conditions: First, the government support 50% finance need to come as soon as possible. Second, the government provides the land and assist the resident reward plan. Third, the government guarantees tax-free during the operation after ten years, and provides the plan of return policy. Finally, the government can’t intervene the company management.

The conditions of the government: First, the government support 50% finance, so need the government’s trustee in the company. Second, provide the land, but the company provides the resident reward plan. Third, the company provides 40% profit to the government and 10% profit for the environmental protection.

The conditions of the residents:
The residents can divide to three parts,
one part: no we don’t need the plant!!PROTEST!!
second part: it’s not my business.
Another part: show me the money!!!!!

My lovely American church ^^[Brian Lim, team B, 2nd blogging]

When I came to America in order to study English, I had some aims. One of the aims was making American friends. First time, it is very hard for me to make American friends because I was not good at speaking English. However I never gave up this aim and never forgot this aim. So I decided to enter a community club in main campus for making American friends. One day, one of my church friends introduced a community club. He said “There are a lot of friendly and kindly people in this community club, so you can make easily many American friends in there.” The community club name is Asian-American-Christian-Fellowship whose members called this club as double A. C. F. In AACF I could meet many friends whose nationality is very variety, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and so on. But they only can speak English because many of them were born in America. In other words, they are American citizens. So we could be familiar with each other. Ah! Let me boast that I will go to beach with AACF club members two weeks later! I expect that I could make many new friends through this camp. These days, every Wednesday, I participate in this meeting and meet new friends in this club. Why you wanna build Power plant?? / Charley

Actually, I was not in the class when you discussed about this subject first time, so I don’t understand clearly, but I’m just writing. Anyway, I think this happing is very weird. We are living in democracy!! Come on! First, nobodies want to increase 50% of electricity fee. I mean, the number 50% is no makes sense. Second, What makes they have to pay about this? Even we have only one plant, it’s enough. I don’t understand why they want to build another plant. Even if electricity is not enough to supply all of the cities, it’s all city’s fault. It’s not citizen’s fault. City has to make power plant for citizen use city’s money. That’s the reason we pay taxes a lot and violation fee in everything even we parked wrong place for short time! Where are our taxes we already paid? Third, that’s VERY FUNNY that we pay, and they own. We pay 50% more electricity to build power plant means they take company which is made by our money. For example, I don’t have money, and I tell you guys that I’ll make homework machine for you. Please pay 10bucks, and after make it, you pay again when you use this machine! I’ll give you 50% discount!// I know that you can get a discount about electricity fee after complete this power plant, but think more about it. You pay to build power plant for electricity company, and it’ll be their power plant. Finally, we can anticipate the big pros and cons about this problem. Even if citizen have vote about this, someone who don’t want to make a power plant have to pay 50% or 25% more money. In democracy society, minor opinions can’t be ignored. If they are really poor, so it’s too critical to their living? It’ll be big issue. In summary, it’s no makes sense! lol

#541 Writing / Power Plant Project in Riverside / Yosuke

In our class activity on April 29, we discussed about “Power Plant Project in Riverside”, and on April 30, each group’s representative explained their opinion. So, I summarized my opinion as “nearby residents” in accordance with two days activity.

First, we would like to request Power Company to use pollution-free resource, such as solar power, wind power, etc. Environmental issue is most important factor to proceed with this project, so air pollution, water pollution and soil pollution shouldn’t be allowed.

Second, if there are possibilities to release harmful substance; for example, NOx, SOx, Co2, Cadmium, etc, we strongly request to Power Company to incorporate necessary treatment systems in order to reduce the amount of discharged substance.

Finally, if Power Company decided to use pollution-free resource with necessary treatment systems, we will agree with their construction plan, subject to acceptance of our following requirement; in short, we request Power Company to subcontract to local company at least “50%” of subcontract works as provision for unemployment and prosperity of economics. This “50%” is same as original expenditure which Riverside City will be reimbursed, so we can change this figure based on final agreement of expenditure of Riverside City.

I can`t deceive my emotion.when I was embarrassed and tensed , my face turns red.
so I don`t like it. I sometimes think I am sick but I accept it is my character.
Recentry,I want afford to talk with classmate.I always desperate to catch up with the class.
I must focus on listening, writing ,answering the question . My eye may be piercing in the class.
I have been in America about a one month since I had come here. Oh~,Time passed is very fast.In the rest of time,I must improve my English and my heart .My speaking is especially poor than writing and reading, so I`ll to be egotism a little .
The show took place from 3:15 today. I acted the character in the show. I got a nervous very much when the show started.
In my acting turn, I stopped shaking my body . when I said my first script, I heard the people laughter.I got a joy to act the character in the public. so, I exaggerate saying the script and adding a big action. I enjoyed acting in that time.
I have ever thinking about something one too much ;therefore ,I thought it was important for me to have a courage from this experience. so, depend on my mind, I can change the atmosphere.
I don`t think I have a time more than four months , I only have a time less than four months .
I will try my best to do this step by step. Someday, I make every one in my class laughing by use a my joke!!

LIFE IN AMERICA--Leo

It's my turn to write post again, this time I will talk about my friend and my life of America. But the way , I am enjoying my life.
Firstly,I tend to talk about American life, I almost have been staying America for four months already, I remember when I arrived the first day I arrived here, I don't even know where it is. And I went to Mc and KFC, I don't even know how to order food,because the food in MC and KFC are totally difference between China and America. And also what i know is that in most of restaurants I can refill up my beverage after I finished it , if you have breakfast lunch and dinner in restaurant,which made me interested, in China no way!!! When I walked on the road in the first time, i didn't know to push the button,my friend told me I have to do it before crossing the road, and what i found is that American drivers are very polity, because they will let walker go first, even though the traffic is green, which makes feel happy and ashamed,because in china,most of people didn't do that, actually, people always let autos go first. Anyway I want to talk about tips ,which is so funny and let me know what American culture is. when I finished my breakfast, lunch and dinner, my friends always require me to pay tips , but in the beginning I always forgot it,I am not used to pay that tips , because waiters or waitresses can't accept tips in China, so I never pay for it.

Six Flags^*^

Driving almost one hour everyday on the freeway made me feel exhausted. So, in the weekend, I just want to have a good rest, and don't want to go everywhere. I think two-day weekend is too short!!!!

Fortunately, we had a three-day weekend last week. It was so exciting! I planned to go to the magic mountain in which there are so many roller coasters! I really love that! Since I don't dark places, such as the ghost house which I hate and afraid. I used to sleep with the light turning on. In my childhood, I remember that I went to a tourist attraction with my parents, and had a look at something in the cave which was dark inside. I felt so afraid of that. I just began to cry and didn’t want to go inside. My parents had no choice, just hugged me, and didn’t go inside. But in contrary, I love things make me exciting.

My boyfriend and I bought the tickets on the Internet which we found by chance. Fortunately, they are cheaper. Everything is ready, and we went there. Magic Mountain is not so far away from my home. We got there early in the morning. There are so many kinds of roller coasters there. We played one by one! COOOOOOOOOL~~~~~! The roller coasters have so many different kinds, such as facing to the ground, facing to the sky, etc. We really enjoyed that. We have already played every roller coaster there. Also, we played some games there, and won a lot of lovely dolls!~~~~ ~~~~

Six Flags is really exciting place! I think if I can play the roller coasters which I love everyday, I won’t be sleepy!~ :P
